Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for an organization in the Jackson, WI area. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll be instrumental in processing customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. You'll also monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate action.

Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and process invoices from vendors and service providers

• Maintain an organized system of tracking, managing, and updating customer accounts

• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing quality customer support

• Execute check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments

• Manage and update customer credit applications and records

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoices

• Utilize 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Check Runs', 'Coding Invoices', 'Invoice Processing' skills to enhance job performance

• Monitor customer accounts regularly for any irregularities or discrepancies

• Ensure all financial data is stored securely and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in check runs

• Familiarity with coding invoices

• Demonstrated ability in invoice processing

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of general accounting principles

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
