Description Robert Half has a great opportunity available for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with an organization that offers an appealing company culture among highly skilled professionals. This role will require the candidate to attend to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department and work closely with the Accounting Manager. The essential functions of this role will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Youngstown, Ohio area and will be a long-term contract / temporary position.

　　Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

　　Perform full-cycle A/P

　　Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Carry out additional projects as required

　　Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

　　Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

　　Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

　　Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies Requirements - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Microsoft Excel experience

　　Experience with customer service

　　Adeptness in billing

　　Code Invoices experience

　　Check Runs experience preferred

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
