Job Purpose: Monitor and inspect circuitboard assemblies manufactured in the SMT department utilizing AutomaticOptical (AOI) and/or X-ray (5DX) equipment to ensure product quality andreliability. Nature of Duties: Monitor SMT product at defined station(s)utilizing AOI or 5DX. Identify components including part numbers,values, package size/shape, placement and solderability. Report findingsto appropriate personnel, and record findings on applicabledocumentation Perform other responsibilities as needed. Education andExperience: Experience utilizing AOI and/or 5DX equipment. Workingknowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines Excellent written and oralcommunication skills, and able to handle multiple tasks at once. May doa lot of standing andwalking andmay lift up to 35 pounds. Manualdexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary. Must be available forovertime as needed. Must have a strong attention to detail.Soldercertified andexperience in electronics or contract manufacturingpreferred. Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing andknowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines preferred.
