Description

　　Rapidly growing client within the services industry seeks an Accounting Specialist with insurance accounting expertise. The responsibilities for this role will consist of allocating top-tier customer service and building strong client relationships, assisting with billing discrepancies, providing accounts receivable updates to vendors and clients, preparing month end reports, maintaining and updating spreadsheets, drafting internal correspondence, and making daily check deposits and ACH payments. The ideal Accounting Specialist should have strong interpersonal skills, proven analytical/strategic thinking skills, and the ability to complete tasks within deadlines.

　　How you will make an impact

　　· Maintain financial records

　　· Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

　　· Compile reports for management

　　· Bank Wire Transfers

　　· Spreadsheet Maintenance

　　· Invoice entry/Invoice Management

　　· Research, track and restore accounting documentation discrepancies

　　· Prepare month-end journal entries

　　· Assist accounting projects when needed

　　Requirements

　　The ideal Accounting Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

　　Other requirements for the Accounting Specialist role include and are not limited to:

　　· 2+ years of Accounting experience

　　· Insurance industry experience a plus

　　· Basic Microsoft Excel skills

　　· Excellent communication skills
