Job Description Summary
The Integrated Product Support Manager will provide broad support across GE Edison Works portfolio of next generation and advanced military programs. In this role you will participate in cross functional teams to lead sustainment strategies that align with airframe integrator and Department of Defense (DoD) customer’s needs. You will support the development of all data, information, and equipment required to sustain advanced propulsion systems through testing and operational fielding.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead integrated logistics, sustainment, and product support teams
Responsible for managing GE’s propulsion system compliance to the twelve DoD Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements
Work with airframe integrators and DoD customers to establish sustainment strategies and supportability requirements that are levied onto the propulsion system design
Interface with systems and design engineering organizations to ensure the maturing propulsion system architecture meets sustainment requirements and strategies
Support identification of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) requirements and work with controls engineering organizations to develop Prognostics and Health Monitoring (PHM) capabilities
Ensure the proper levels of readiness and product support are provided during flight testing campaigns
Support identification of spare parts requirements, forecasting, and management
Partner and work cross-functionally with maintainability, reliability, safety, supportability, and human factors engineers
Support the establishment and activation of organizational, intermediate, and depot maintenance and sustainment
Participate in establishment of digital sustainment capabilities (e.g., model-based sustainment) that integrate with existing or new digital infrastructure
Support development of life cycle cost models and perform trade-offs to minimize sustainment costs
Provide input on the design and engineering of support equipment and the authoring of technical manuals and training
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or Associates Degree with 4 years of additional relevant or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of U.S. military organizations, logistics and sustainment processes and environment
A minimum of 4 years of military or DoD related industry experience
Must have or qualify for a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Ability to work full time on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH; due to security requirements there are restricted work from home or remote opportunities.

Desired Characteristics
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
Direct experience working with, or for the U.S. military in the maintenance, operation, or sustainment of aircraft or propulsion systems
Prior military experience as a maintenance officer or enlisted aircraft maintenance technician (tactical aircraft maintenance, aerospace propulsion, or low observable aircraft structural maintenance highly desired)
Experience with maintenance or sustainment of 5th generation military aircraft, such as the B-2, F-22 or F-35
Familiarity with turbine engine operation and demonstrated knowledge of logistics and sustainment processes for military turbine engines
Ability to work remotely and travel as needed
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
