Description

　　We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to for a contract to hire opportunity in the South West Houston area . The Accounting Specialist role will involve various operations of accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, ledger entries, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and back-up supporting billing & payroll.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Handling accounts payable and receivable.

　　Regularly maintaining detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.

　　Providing detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.

　　Preparing documentation for audits.

　　Assisting in preparing budgets and forecasts.

　　Preparing payroll and handling employee benefit calculations.

　　Ensuring company compliance with financial regulations and standards.

　　Enhancing internal controls and improving processes for efficiency.

　　Requirements

　　Requirements:

　　NetSuite software experience is a plus

　　Proven work experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role.

　　Good knowledge of all accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.

　　Excellent data entry skills.

　　Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets.

　　Proficiency with accounting software, MS Excel in particular.

　　Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.

　　Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
