Description

We are on the lookout for a diligent Accounting Manager to become a part of our team within the Manufacturing industry, based in SHELTON, Connecticut. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in managing financial data, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, and responding to customer inquiries. This role requires someone bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with precision and speed.

• Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records.

• Effectively address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.

• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary.

• Handle account reconciliation tasks and maintain up-to-date records.

• Oversee the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Manage and post journal entries to guarantee accurate accounting records.

• Utilize BlackLine for financial data management and report generation.

Requirements

• Spanish/English bilingual required

• Demonstrated experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software, specifically BlackLine.

• Demonstrable experience with month-end close processes.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation.

• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate journal entries.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing financial systems and procedures.

• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Relevant detail oriented certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is preferred.

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to accounting and financial reporting.
