Job Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
In this internship you will be working as part of a world-class ASIC designteam at HPE developing the next generation Slingshot interconnect used inlarge exascale high performance computers. Your responsibilities will includebut are not limited to:
Help develop testbenches using System Verilog and the UVM methodology forindustry leading high performance ASICsWrite constrained-random testsWrite bus functional models that drive and monitor stimulusWrite scoreboards and checkers to verify functional behaviorWrite and analyze functional coverageTriage regression failures and identify logic bugs
Background and Skills:
Minimum Requirements:Candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, ComputerEngineering, Computer Science or related fieldCompleted course work in digital design and computer architectureFluency with object-oriented programmingExcellent communication skills including the ability to clearly articulateconcepts (in verbal and written form) to stakeholdersAbility to work well in a distributed team environment with lively debate
Preferred Qualifications:Candidate is pursuing a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering or related fieldOVM and UVM methodologiesVerilog and System VerilogScripting languages such as Python or Perl
Location:Prefer onsite at HPE location, will consider remote
