　　Job Overview

　　Starting pay rate at $37.50/hourThe Life Support Program Coordinator develops, implements, and deliversAHA education courses, including, but not limited to Pediatric AdvancedLife Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support.Responsibilities include course management, AHA instructor support, RQImanagement/support and evaluation and improvement of the program. The LifeSupport Coordinator is a PALS, ACLS, and BLS instructor.

　　Qualifications

　　Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Respiratory TherapyExperience: Three (3) years' experience as an AHA instructorCertification(s):BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association (AHA) with at least six(6) months left before expiration is required upon hire.Current Colorado Driver's License with good driving record.ACLS Instructor certification or PALS Instructor certification at time of hire(must obtain remaining ACLS Instructor certification or PALS Instructorcertification, within six (6) months of hire).ACLS or PALS Training Center Faculty/Course Director - Strongly preferred orobtained within twelve months of hireLicensure(s): Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state ofColorado is required or Colorado Respiratory Therapist License, RegisteredRespiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory
