Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to lead the accounting team,supervise, monitor and evaluate all daily accounting activities, and toprovide financial and administrative support in order to ensureeffective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrativeoperations.

Position Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee month-end close processes to ensure accuracy ofinternal financial statements for all entities.
Review and ensure journal entries, account reconciliations, and otheranalyses related to the month-end closing process are accurate. Makecorrections as necessary.
Manage Inventory accounting including monthly JEs, reconciliations, andquarterly counts.
Manage the RMA team and the RMA process.
Oversee the warehouse operations ensuring the warehouse is organized,inventory is secure and receiving/shipping process is streamlined withappropriate controls.
Assist the Corporate Controller with the monthly Sales Commissionprocess and the monthly Financial Reporting process.
Work with the Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teamsto streamline, automate, and improve processes across the departments.
Establish a cross-training program for existing employees within theaccounting department which includes documented procedures for keyactivities.
Identify opportunities to improve controls; work with Accounting andOperations to design and implement.
Supervise day to day activities for direct reports.
Support Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Compliance work as needed.
Support the annual budgeting process.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
At least 5 years of accounting experience.
At least 3 years of general ledger experience.
At least 3 years of management experience.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Advanced knowledge and technical aptitude in MS Excel.
Excellent organizational, time-management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Must be detailedoriented.
Working knowledge of ERP system.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and enteringfinancial information.
Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial information.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with vendors, customers,employees, and the general public.
