Description

　　Robert Half is seeking a resourceful, knowledgeable candidate that is available to start immediately as an Accounting Manager at a company in the Construction/Contractor industry. In this Accounting Manager role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations as the Accounting Manager. This is a long-term contract role that will transition into a full-time/permanent role within the organization!!!

　　Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines

　　Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and procedures

　　Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

　　Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes

　　Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlook

　　Requirements

　　-7+ years of progressive accounting experience at Senior or Manager level

　　-Construction/Manufacturing background highly preferred

　　-Knowledge of Job Costing/Percentage of Completion Accounting

　　-Strong use of Excel

　　-Dynamics SL experience a plus
