We have been in the industry for over 65 years and are looking to add to our team. This position will be the main point of contact and be responsible for all major OEM Sales and Customers. Develop, grow and retain positive relationships with all OEM clients and keep contact information updated. Must be ability to pass our pre-employment testing. Come and be part of the Mesabi Difference! Essential Job Functions: Maintain constant improvement and growth with OEM customers. Engage in training, support, feedback, and interactions with Sales Team. Develop perception towards Target Markets (Mining, Oil/Gas, Construction). Plan and work with General Manager on OEM sales budgets for FY. Participate in developing annual goals for sales department. Implement and execute communication plan with OEM service departments while expanding current OEM network levels. Coordinate with OEMs for forecast reports and review public trends, information, and pricing. Organize OEM customer visits and meeting materials: coordinate with engineering and customer service. Distribute trip reports from OEM site visits to OEM team. Report monthly OEM sales statistics accurately and promptly to management, complete monthly manager reports and attend monthly manager meetings as requested by General Manager. Complete requested reports and update General Manager regularly. Coordinate with Management on the following: o Marketing and advertising strategies and budgets. o Schedule, organize, and distribute marketing literature and demonstrate consistent execution of the Sales and Marketing Plan using various methods to include social media and platforms. o Schedule, organize and participate in trade shows as requested. o Maintain weekly contact with staff. o Conduct monthly teleconference with all sales staff. o Assists with training and mentoring new hires. Perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety guidelines/procedures. Perform related work and other duties as assigned by President or other management staff as directed. Domestic and international travel required and could include weekend travel depending on the project.
