The Siemens manufacturing site in Fort Worth, Texas has an immediate opening for an Environmental Specialist. The successful candidate will support a wide range of Environment and Sustainability responsibilities, including but not limited to those noted below.

You will make an impact by:

Lead site Environmental Protection and Sustainability processes, activities, projects and reports, to enable a culture of excellence.

Monitor, analyze and improve implemented Environmental Protection and Sustainability programs and best practices to ensure compliance with external and internal requirements as well as supporting inspections/audits.

Drive compliance of environmental federal and local legal requirements of EPA, Fort Worth City, etc., as well as company corporate requirements.

Lead the implementation of Decarbonization, Electricity efficiency, Product Carbon Footprint and Waste and wastewater management standards for the operations and processes.

Administrate the chemical substances characterization inventory, from a DNSH perspective.

Perform inspections and audits on the operations, support, and administrative areas to ensure all the Environmental Protection and Sustainability requirements are met.

Lead and execute environmental emergency preparedness and response plans.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field coupled with 5 years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with some training experience

Analysis capabilities for large data records, desirable experience with PowerBI, Tableau, PowerApps, PowerAutomate.

Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, EPA, local requlations and reporting. Desirable ISO 51001 knowledge.

Knowledge of decarbonization, electricity efficiency and DNSH programs.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

The pay range for this position is $64,680 - $110,880. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
