Description

We are offering a temporary to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in SYCAMORE, Illinois. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be instrumental in handling our financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Your role is to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices.

Responsibilities

• Administering the assignment of purchase order numbers and general ledger account numbers to purchase orders, invoices, and statements.

• Ensuring the agency's credit rating is unaffected by resolving disputed charges and implementing preventive measures.

• Establishing payment schedules that adhere to the vendor's terms and capitalize on discounts.

• Distributing vendors' checks post issuance.

• Executing reconciliation of the Accounts Payable with the General Ledger on a monthly basis.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess skill in Account Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must.

• The applicant should be adept at Billing tasks.

• Data Entry skills are necessary for this role.

• Experience in Invoice Processing is a requirement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

The salary range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
