Description

We are providing an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Frisco, Texas. This role is located on-site and is expected to be a long-term contract. The main function being administrative and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurately logging checks into a spreadsheet

• Expected to proficiently use Microsoft Excel to move and type data

• Required to assist in the management of change of staff

• Expected to carry out data entry tasks and utilize 10-key skills

• Responsible for assisting in maintaining team efficiency

• Expected to provide support in resolving customer inquiries

• Responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions

• Required to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Expected to maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Must possess skills in Data Entry and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in Check Processing is required.

• A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles is needed.

• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.

• Excellent knowledge of general accounting procedures.

• Knowledge of relevant accounting software.

• Proficient in data entry and management.

• 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
