NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center, isseekingan experienced, full-time Director of Pain Management to lead and grow the pain management department.

　　Board Certification or eligibility in anesthesiology or PM&R is required; Fellowship in Pain is Preferred. With the assistance of a nurse practitioner, the qualified candidate will manage and expand our existing, hospital-based ambulatory pain management practice and be responsible for coordination of needed clinical services to meet community demands as well as preforming necessary procedures in our ambulatory surgical suite. This will include but not limited to examine patients to determine pain level and diagnosis, development of treatment plan to reduce or manage pain, provide relief from acute or chronic pain through use of medications, nerve blocks, electronic simulation or other therapies.
