JOB REQUIREMENTS: Essential Job Duties: Read blueprints and assembleproduct to engineered specifications using a wide variety of hand andpower tools. Decal product per blueprint specifications. Using a saw andnail/screw guns, cut lumber and build crates per specifications. Checkfor availability of required components. Report all shortages to thePaint and Assembly Coordinator. Securely wire and band parts asnecessary. As required, operate 10-ton overhead crane, observing allsafety rules and regulations. Perform a variety of computer functions tomanage inventory and time clock activity. Perform routine dailyinspection of forklift. Change tanks of propane as required and reportany malfunctioning of equipment to the Supervisor. Observe all Corporatesafety rules and regulations, including those for forklift operation.When working on larger and more complex assignments, direct theactivities of any help that may be provided. Perform manual Paint Shoplabor such as, hanging unpainted parts on the paint line, removingpainted parts from the paint line, plugging and taping parts asspecified, sorting parts, packaging completed product, etc. Perform avariety of additional duties as instructed by the Supervisor or Paintand Assembly Coordinator such as, assist the Shipping Department withpulling orders, help Production Stores pull shop orders, put finishedproduct away, etc. Responsible for inspecting your own work.
