Description Are you an Accounting Clerk looking to join a well-respected organization? Robert Half is seeking a skilled candidate for an Accounting Clerk position at a department. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). 　　What you get to do every single day

　　See to the proper coding of documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

　　Aid Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

　　Circulate financial information to journals and ledgers

　　Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a number of sources

　　Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

　　Square up discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

　　Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit Requirements - 1+ years of relevant experience

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Strong familiarity with QuickBooks

　　Adeptness in cash applications

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

　　Microsoft Excel experience preferred

　　Command of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Billing Collection experience highly desired

　　Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work

　　Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

　　Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system
