About Accountant I

　　Assist with Midland Division operations accounting. Record drilling andconstruction overhead, cost allocations, and equipment billing. Assistwith accruals, AFE analysis, account analysis, joint venture audits,and other aspects of division operations accounting. Work with accountspayable assistants on use of proper account coding and billing decks. Specialprojects as assigned.

　　JOB REQUIREMENTS

　　High school diploma or GED is required. Individuals working towards aBachelor's degree in Accounting or similar business degree program with aminimum of 18 hours of accounting preferred. Requires excellent communicationskills and the ability to work affectively with others in the organization anddemonstrated analytical ability. Proficient knowledge of Windows, Excel,Access and Word. Knowledge of AS/400 system a plus.

　　Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
