We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant based in Tigard, OR. In this role, you will be working remotely and your primary responsibilities will include supporting the clients of a public accounting firm with a seasonal uptick of work.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems, specifically QuickBooks, to maintain and track financial records

• Provide support to clients in preparing and filing Form 1099's

• Handle personal property tax returns for various clients

• Conduct thorough review of client assets and prepare them for further review

• Display proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for the creation and editing of financial documents

• Perform account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy of financial records

• Leverage your accounting background to provide top-notch service to our clients

• Use your technical skills to effectively work in a fully remote environment

• Prioritize accuracy in all accounting functions performed.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Familiarity and competence with Adobe Acrobat is required.

• A strong understanding of accounting functions is necessary.

• Experience with account reconciliation is preferred.

• Knowledge of Personal Property Tax is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Form 1099 is a plus.
