One of our clients is in current need of an Access Control Tech for their Birmingham Alabama Market. This Market expands from Anniston to about Miss. up to Cullman, and down to Calera handling the installation and service of the access control devices in the area along with the installation and service of there CCTV, alarm, control panels, card readers, etc. this person will need to be a self starter and self motivator with the ability and aptitude to coordinate and direct the sub contractors for larger projects.
Their version of an ideal candidate will have at least two years of previous service, installation and/or project management experience in the commercial electronic security industry, including: Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intercom, and Intrusion Systems. Candidates with a background in a parallel industry such as IT/networking, electrical controls, HVAC, robotics, etc. are also strongly encouraged
Responsibilities:
• Programming access control, CCTV, and parking control systems Amag, Axis, Tiba
• Installing and/or troubleshooting field equipment (card readers, cameras, burglar alarms, control panels, etc.)
• Project planning
• Directing and managing onsite subcontractors
• Complete projects within budgeted costs and time schedules
• Fully test systems (quality assurance) and gain final project acceptance by the customer
• Complete end-user training maximize customer satisfaction
• Perform all duties in a safe, professional, and courteous manner
