National TubeSupply, a leading metals service centers specializing in carbon andalloy tubular products is seeking Operations Warehouse Supervisor forour University Park, IL location on our 2nd (3pm-11:30pm) and 3rd(11pm-7:30am) shift.

　　Successful applicants will be required to complete a post-off HairFollicle Drug Screen (approx. 3-6 month window) and background check.

　　Job duties include but not limited to:

　　Coordinate job duties at start of shift

　　Lead weekly safety and shift meetings

　　Interview candidates for open positions

　　Discipline and counsel employees when necessary

　　Complete weekly payroll report

　　Complete non-conformance and audit forms

　　Conduct weekly employee safety observations

　　Review and adjust work orders through computer program

　　Conduct monthly safety inspection of warehouse bays and equipment

　　Conduct employee performance reviews

　　Knowledge/Skills

　　Comply with and enforce workshop practices and work instructions.

　　Comply with and enforce all Company policies and rules of employment.

　　Comply with and enforce Safety policy and procedures.

　　Comply with and enforce Quality Management System policy and procedures.

　　Comply with and enforce Lean Manufacturing practices (5S, Kanban, etc.)as implemented.

　　Assure work areas are clean and safe.

　　Promote continuous improvement.

　　Communicate problems to Manager.

　　Stop production to correct quality problems as applicable.

　　Contribute to achieving Quality Objectives.

　　Ability to operate equipment: saw, crane, lift truck

　　Basic mathematical and communication skills

　　Experience with ERP software

　　Microsoft Office programs

　　Experience:

　　High School Diploma (Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred)

　　Successful candidates will have at least 3 years of steel or industrialexperience
