Description

　　Robert Half is actively looking for a driven Financial Reporting Manager to fill a role for a growing company in the Financial Services field. If you have a demonstrated interest for data analytics and know how to interact well with other people, this may be the Financial Reporting Manager position for you. The Financial Reporting Manager is located in Orlando, Florida and is a long-term contract / temporary position.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Drive improvements in financial reporting and analysis as well as requisite system requirements

　　Track and analyze actuals vs. budget/forecast performance

　　Deliver impromptu analytical support and perform special projects as needed

　　Coordinate with internal business partners in the preparation, implementation, and compliance of management reporting & analysis requirements

　　Contribute to the annual operating plan, the monthly forecast, the monthly reporting and analysis, and the business planning process. Deliver and explain variance analysis

　　Assemble break-even and investment return analysis

　　Requirements - Passion for and understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, and forecasting with strong financial modeling skills

　　5+ years of related experience

　　Comprehensive knowledge of international financial reporting standards

　　Deep understanding of reinsurance

　　Full Cycle Accounting experience

　　Life Reinsurance experience required

　　High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

　　Current and relevant ERP system experience

　　Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative/analytical disciplines
