Job Description

Raytheon is looking for a summer Intern who will participate in business operations and/or project engineering tasks supporting an Agile Software Development program.  As an intern you will work with subject matter experts to review business systems and collect the necessary data to assess opportunities for improvement in program execution. This position will work on a wide range of applications and have broad-based exposure to various business areas including Engineering, Program Management, Earned Value, and Subcontractor Management

What you Will Do:

Support Program Manager and Program Engineer to drive successful closure of program deliverables

Create reports using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to drive on-time delivery of software deliverable and contract data deliverable

Work with SWCM (Software Configuration Management) and engineering leadership to refine data gathering from Atlassian Jira for metrics that help drive and direct program execution

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to support execution efficiency

Qualifications You Must Have:

Must be actively enrolled and pursuing a degree with preferred majors in Business, Operations Management, Management Information Systems, and will consider other majors in Mathematics or Engineering

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications we Prefer:

3.0 or higher GPA

Experience with or knowledge of Agile Development Software practices and methodologies

Experience with Microsoft Office Tools

This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their (insert Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Grad year) by the start of summer 2025.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
