Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be onsite full-time, but the general expectation is that the employee be on-site an average of three (3) days each week.

About Digital Business Team:
Our Digital Business Team (DBT) organization is responsible for delivering GM's digital growth strategy & customer experience vision by building a deeper relationship with our customers and accelerating GM's transformation from vehicle maker to platform innovator.
Build and execute experiences across digital and physical channels - in-vehicle, mobile, web, dealer, advisor Manage all facets of GM's digital ecosystem, including eCommerce, online vehicle shopping, loyalty and card program, infotainment, digital service, OnStar Safety & Connectivity, fleet and business solutions and connected over the air updates Responsible for pricing & packaging for all digital products & services
There are variety of areas within DBT, and your summer internship can be based on your interest, qualifications and best fit for the business.
CX Design - where there are opportunities as a User Researcher to work with a team to design products for the next generation of the GM ownership experience. Or a Visual Designer where responsibilities are in designing for our future product line. A Product Designer to work with our passionate and hardworking team of designers. A Content Designer or Content Strategist where responsibilities are in designing for our future product line. A Conversational Design to work on enabling new conversational experiences for the next generation of GM ownership experience.
Required Qualifications :
Pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree in one of the following areas: Industrial Design, User Design/Experience, or Graphic Design/Arts Must be graduating between December 2024 - June 2026 Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week Ability to work in ambiguous situations Shown capability to collaborate with different people and groups to gain trust and hit program objectives Demonstrated learning agility

GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2024 Student Program.
Start Date: This position has a planned start date of May/June 2024.
The salary range for this role is $3,800 and $5,200, dependent upon class status and degree.
Benefit options are not available for this role.
This position will be posted until November 30, 2023.
