Description of Work Unit
The Office of Engagement and Extension ( OEE ) was organized in 2006 to advance CSU’s engagement and outreach missions. OEE includes CSU Extension, CSU Extended Campus (including CSU Online), the Colorado Water Center and a variety of vibrant programs that engage the teaching, research, extension, and service missions of Colorado State University. The Vice President for Engagement and Extension ( VPEE ) is the principal administrative, academic, and fiscal officer for the division, reports to the CSU President, and works closely with the Provost/Executive Vice President. OEE works collaboratively across all Colleges and offices on campus, and has strong engagement programs throughout Colorado, the Western US and globally. At any given time, OEE includes over 400 employees. The total of budgets is approximately $85 million. OEE is one of the most institutionally comprehensive commitments to engagement and outreach among all land-grant and other universities. Propelled by OEE’s leadership, nationally CSU is a Carnegie Engaged University (2008, 2014), is a member of the Engagement Scholarship Consortium, is an APLU Innovation and Economic Prosperity University (2016) and is highly ranked for its online degree programs. Annually, CSU Extended Campus garners enrollments of over 10,000 learners and CSU Extension delivers approximately 500,000 educational contacts.

Position Summary
The Learning Production Operations Support Specialist ( LPOSS ) joins a team of 20+ individuals who develop online learning materials and courses. This position interfaces with all aspects of the team through project management and operational support. With a wide range of responsibilities focused on increasing efficiency and organization, the LPOSS role is a crucial component of the team. They will join a team that works collaboratively to support the teaching and learning mission of the University, reporting to the Educational Resource Support Manager on the Learning Production and Training team in the CSU Office of Engagement and Extension.
Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any field and 1 year of related professional experience OR High School Diploma and 3 years of related professional experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Job Qualifications
Experience with a learning management system (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
Experience with project management software (Smartsheet, Airtable, Asana, etc.)
Experience with Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with ticketing systems (FreshService, Jira, etc.)
Experience with data collection, entry, verification, and reporting
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Experience with web content accessibility guidelines and additional accessibility standards, accommodations and voluntary product accessibility templates reviews
Experience with project management concepts and principles: creating milestones, addressing blocking issues, setting deadlines, and tracking project outcomes
Familiarity with creating and maintaining process and technical documentation
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as an individual contributor and member of both internal and external teams
