  JOB REQUIREMENTS: Patient Scheduling Specialist - Ophthalmology - E.Terrace Drive Medical Center - 28714 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: WorkSchedule: 100% FTE, 40 Hours per week. Shifts scheduled Monday - Fridaybetween the hours of 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on theoperational needs of the department. Pay: Pay starts at \$18.91 perhour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be takeninto consideration when determining the starting base pay. We are seekinga Patient Scheduling Specialist to: * Utilize your excellent customerservice skills to schedule appointments via phone, in-person orelectronic correspondence. * Make an impact on the patient experienceby making it easier for patients to schedule appointments acrossmultiple locations with just one phone call. * Assist patients andtheir families with their appointment scheduling needs. * Make outgoingphone calls to patients to schedule their appointments. * Coordinatewith clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in atimely manner. Preferred - Associate or Bachelor\'s degree in BusinessAdministration, Healthcare, or other related field. Work Experience:Minimum One (1) year of previous experience in an office or customerservice environment. Preferred - Previous experience working inhealthcare. Previous experience scheduling of patients.
