　　Job Overview

　　We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Commodity Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI.

　　As a Supply Chain Commodity Specialist, you will:

　　Execute supply chain strategy. Identify supplier quality, delivery, and service issues. Monitor supplier corrective action and coordinate supplier development. Identify and eliminate waste from supply chain. May develop and manage sources of supply for commodities. May assist with development of supply chain sourcing strategy and manage supplier alliances for commodities, including supplier evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing supplier performance and relationship management.

　　Some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):

　　Analyzes supplier performance, using Haworth systems, to identify supplier issues, initiate corrective action, and track performance.

　　Manages supplier base and supply chain to assure lead time, quality, and on-time complete delivery meet Haworth objectives.

　　Leads Supplier Quality Task Teams (SQTT). Uses SQTT process to drive supplier development.

　　Works closely with Commodity Material Planners, Production Planners, end-users, and suppliers to reduce lead-time and Haworth inventory investment. Uses various Just In Time (JIT) techniques, including Kanban, consigned inventories, and others.

　　May develop sources of supply, including competitive bidding, supplier selection, and negotiating contract terms and conditions for medium-risk commodities, to ensure Supply Chain Performance.

　　Maintains database and generates purchase order contracts, using Haworth systems. Utilizes spreadsheet analysis software, to evaluate technical and financial data.

　　Exercises most effective use of company funds in acquisition of assigned commodities and equipment, in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

　　Do you have these required qualifications?

　　Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or similar.

　　2 years of purchasing experience.

　　Ability to lifts parts, materials, and/or products weighing up to 50 pounds.

　　Ability to transport self for interplant and supplier visits.

　　Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

　　Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
