JOB DESCRIPTION

　　Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

　　1) Lead the creation of cloud-based or desktop software solutions for the SES Testing area.

　　2) Lead teams in other Ford Regions for supporting SES Core methods and code development.

　　3) Gather & manage software requirements for XIL toolchain for automation and semi-automation

　　4) Lead the implementation of technical protocols for automotive solutions, Adaptive AUTOSAR and SOA

　　5) Support in the training and mentoring of Software and Agile methodology for other regions such as Germany, Brazil and North America.

　　6) Design and development of Python/C/C++/Java scripts/projects to support testing activities in SES Core domain

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　. Knowledge of software design patterns, Object Oriented Programing & code optimization

　　2. Excellent written and oral communication skills both English and Spanish.

　　3. Able to work flexibly across multiple code languages such as Java, C, C#, and Python.

　　4. Familiarity with Vehicle architectures, protocols, and testing tools such as CAN, Some IP, DoIP, ISTQB

　　5. Able to simultaneously work on multiple projects while independently managing their time.

　　6. Able to develop new expertise as needed. Possess the character and interpersonal skills required to serve as a trusted advisor.

　　7. Expertise with cloud tools such as Google Cloud Platform and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

　　8. Expertise of Agile software development such as SCRUM or SAFe

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　1. **Note: This position accepts candidates GSR 6, 7 & 8.

　　2. Expertise with software development, agile development, TDD and DDD, OOP

　　3. Expertise on problem solving, algorithms and requirements gathering, analysis and processing.

　　4. Strong knowledge with OOP, Code optimization, Vehicle protocols, Jira.

　　5. Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, Computer science, Mechanical/Electrical or related required.
