Senior Business Analyst
We are looking for bright, highly motivated and ambitious Business Analysts to join our team.
The position involves eliciting and documenting business requirements, working directly with product teams and clients, as well as seeing each project through development, testing and implementation. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a professional manner alongside other teams as well as on their own, so the following skills will be required:
An ability to look holistically across technology, people, process and data when defining solutions
A requirement-driven (not solution-driven) attitude to Business Analysis
Great people skills – you will be working with a variety of technical, business and product personnel at junior, mid and senior levels of the organisation

An interest in technology and the payments industry. The candidates must:
Have demonstrated experience in Business Analysis (product/solution definition preferred)
Have passion for business solutions
Be a self-starter, and work well in a team
Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
Have the following technical skills:
Proficient Microsoft Office User (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Proficient in the use of Confluence and Jira Agile delivery tools
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Visio
Working with our product or client organisations to ensure we retain core integrity in the solution, and that the enhancements, applications and localisations that you design fit with our overall strategy.

Role Specifics - New Product Development
Define and Plan
The Business Analyst will help to shape the scope of the project through assessing what use cases or business processes need to be analysed. The Business Analyst will work with the Product Management, Client Delivery and Development groups to agree the SDLC model to be used for the project and to plan out the number of sprints or development cycles that will be included in the project.
Analyse
During this phase the Business Analyst will be responsible for documenting business requirements for the Use Cases/Business Processes that they have been allocated.
Requirements will be documented using Use Cases, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria. Supporting wireframes, screen/data flows or process flows will be created as required.
Design & Build
The Business Analyst is responsible for working with the development teams to ensure that all requirements are fully understood. Typically regular collaboration meetings will occur to review the requirements and the solution that is being built to ensure that all of the scope is delivered as the Business Analyst would expect.
The Business Analyst may also be required to break down some of the larger Use Cases into User Stories to aid the development teams with their development.
In addition the Business Analyst should use this phase to document any test or acceptance criteria that must be fulfilled in order to prove that the product is working as expected.
System Testing
Throughout the System Test phase the Business Analyst should continue to manage the co-ordination of the solution with all the impacted teams. Managing solution issues through to resolution and performing impact analysis to potential change requests. Overall the Business Analyst should ensure that the final tested solution for their functional area that is delivered to the client is fit for purpose.
User Acceptance Testing
The Business Analyst will help the client define their UAT strategy. The Business Analyst will provide support to the Client Business Analyst as the UAT phase progresses. Managing solution issues through to resolution and performing impact analysis to potential change requests. Support will continue through to pavement/live proving testing.
Implementation
The Business Analyst will ensure the product is fit for implementation into a production environment and support the client with any implementation tasks or activities as required. The BA will become an expert in the on-going configuration and roll-out of the product for future client implementations.
