In collaboration with the Director of Emergency and Critical Care Services, the Director of Performance Improvement and the Trauma Medical Director, the Trauma Program Manager oversees clinical care services for the Trauma Program at Beverly Hospital, a member of Lahey Health. Requirements include development, implementation and evaluation of systems and programs directed towards the provision of quality services for trauma patients from a multi-disciplinary perspective throughout the continuum of care. The Trauma Program Manager demonstrates the ability to communicate mission, vision, behavioral performance standards and goals to all staff. This position provides leadership and guidance to other leaders and staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management and outcome achievement. The Trauma Program Manager also coordinates trauma care management across the continuum of care, plans and implements clinical protocols and practice management guidelines. Monitors care of patients in hospital and serves as a resource for clinical practice.
Education/Experience:
Current Massachusetts State License as RN, MSN preferred. Current BCLS, ACLS and TNCC certification required. Current certification in area of specialty (CEN,CCRN) preferred. Attends the National Trauma Program Manager Educational Program and is certified as a Trauma Nurse Coordinator. Minimum of 5 years experience in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing including supervisory experience.
