Aon is looking for a Training Specialist . As part of an industry-leading team you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting our Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, a subsidiary of Aon Affinity. This position is located in Bellevue, WA and can have an in office, hybrid or 100% remote schedule.
This role is part of the Learning & Development Team (L&D) which is responsible for 2 functions at Healthy Paws, Knowledge and Training. This key role supports both of these functions by helping to create and implement excellent learning and training experiences as well as helping to maintain our knowledge base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop computer-based training for new and experienced customer care team members using a variety of course authoring tools including (but not limited to) Articulate Rise, Storyline & Vyond
Collaborate with Process Owners and Stakeholders to help edit and publish process and program documentation
Help to maintain knowledge base in Salesforce and/or Nice In Contact
Organize, update and track changes to the knowledge base and training curricula
Help to manage our Learning Management System, including uploading and maintaining courses, learning programs, and team lists
Collaborate with various Customer Care Team members (Claims team, Accounts team, Process Owners, QA team, vendor teams, and other stakeholders) to identify areas of opportunity for training either on an individual basis or by team
Create or modify the Learning and Development Team’s process documents
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet their Knowledge and Training needs
Conduct/attend weekly, monthly and ad hoc information-gathering meetings for training feedback, improvements, or departmental changes
Regularly research the subjects of adult learning and education to continually improve our training processes and the trainee experience
Collaborate with Process Owners to ensure alignment between processes, training, and knowledge documents
Work with other business units (Affinity, Workday Team) to manage and improve LMS capabilities
Required Experience:
At least 2 years of recent and relevant work experience in customer service, training, instructional design, virtual instruction, pet insurance, project management, or a related field.
Competency in MS applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook and Google suite
Strong customer service orientation and should enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment
Should be driven, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Must possess an Adjuster license in the state of residence or obtain it within six months of the hire date.
Preferred Experience:
Working knowledge of adult learning theory, effective teaching methodology, and distance learning
Experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Vyond, Workday, Salesforce
Experience with accessible instructional design, LMS and/or KMS
Knowledge of insurance business and terminology and Insurance License
Previous training experience in an insurance (property and casualty claims) or veterinary industry
Experience in high growth companies
Education:
BA in business, instructional design, education, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $53,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
