Description:

　　Overview:**

　　Provide support for hybrid cloud data center, ensuring reliable storage, backup, and archiving capabilities.

　　Aid in critical missions and support worldwide operations.

　　Azure will be more of the native storage solutions such as Azure Disk Storage, Azure Blob Storage, possibly some Azure Data Lake Storage in the future.

　　AWS we will initially be using limited S3 and some FSx (NetApp sync) and we do use some SnowBall storage on occasion.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Handle all storage, backup, and archive activities across various environments and platforms.

　　Engage in engineering, troubleshooting, and maintaining both on-premises and cloud-integrated systems.

　　Monitor, prioritize, and assign incidents; develop and document changes to the storage infrastructure.

　　Offer reliable storage and backup services, manage capacity reporting, and monitor architecture.

　　Act as a technical expert for on-premises and cloud-based Storage Area Networks and their associated components.

　　Collaborate with multiple teams on disaster recovery and other datacenter services.

　　Coordinate with vendors and government staff for system installation, upgrade, and optimization.

　　Develop monitoring plans and ensure system security in compliance with DOD/HCS policy.

　　Automate management tasks and plan for capacity needs.

　　Support 24/7 operations, including on-call duties and occasional after-hours requirements.

　　Qualifications:

　　Basic:

　　Varied educational backgrounds with several years of experience; IAT II Certification.

　　Must have experience with Cohesity hybrid-cloud backup, QStar Archiving, Dell Unity Storage, NetApp SAN/NAS, Cisco MDS, Brocade Fibre Channel Switch, VMWare NSX-T vSAN & virtualization, and vRealize Operations Monitoring.

　　Proficiency in engineering, operating backup/storage in enterprise data centers with secure configurations.

　　Knowledge in integrating cloud-based solutions in hybrid-cloud environments.

　　Familiarity with DOD security solutions, task automation, proactive monitoring, and working with virtual teams.

　　Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes and project management.

　　Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

　　Preferred:

　　Cloud Storage/Backup experience.

　　ITIL certification or ITSM experience.

　　• Experience designing, engineering, operating backup and storage solutions in an enterprise datacenter environment including troubleshooting and DOD-secure configurations (STIG, FIPS).

　　• Experience operating, troubleshooting and maintaining Backup and Storage Area Network/Network Attached Storage systems in an enterprise datacenter/hosting environment. Cohesity, NetBackup, Dell Unity, NetApp, HP 3PAR, StoreEver/Store Once experience desired.

　　• Experience integrating cloud-based storage and backup solutions in a hybrid-cloud environment (Azure, AWS and VMC on AWS desired)

　　• Experience implementing and operating tape-archiving solutions (QStar desired)

　　• Experience implementing DOD security solutions for Storage and Backup solutions including requirements for STIG, FIPS implementation, POA&M development, and support for vulnerability management and accreditation requirements

　　• Experience automating tasks in support of a high-availability storage and backup environment

　　• Experience implementing proactive monitoring and event/incident management to ensure prompt resolution of anomalies or outages (vROPS monitoring suite preferred)

　　• Experience collaborating with operations teams including virtual teams at other locations to provide optimal backup and storage solutions for infrastructure and hosted applications (Oracle and SQL requirement required)

　　• Firm understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes and change management protocols

　　• Experience working within Agile and traditional project management
