The Company provides"best in class" groundwater and surface water level and water qualitymonitoring equipment along with data transmission and management softwareresulting in an exceptional customer experience.Not only does In-Situ provide an attractive offering to our customers, thecompany also places a high value on engagement in our community,environmental projects, employee wellness and creating an open and fun workenvironment.Primary ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support execution (phone inbound/outbound, emails, chats,etc.) on resolving customer issues and perform at the Tier 2 levelWork with other tech support team members to drive efficient world-class techsupport to our customers in the Americas and worldwideEscalate and solicit help from other departments as needed to maintaincustomer satisfactionLead key account and product issue escalations including working withengineering to help drive to root cause and communicate back to team onresolution and actionsResponsible for handling customer calls, web chats and emails regardingtechnical support, instrument installation, data interpretation andinstrumentation issues.Maintain customer databases with current information including enteringcustomer information into Service database for returns.Refers complaints of service or product failure to appropriate departments forinvestigation.Support Regional and International Sales Managers and Distributors regardingdemonstration equipment, specifications and applications.Develop and communicate Technical & Application notes for sales, serviceand distributorsTravel to customer premises to resolve problems or install new equipmentAvailable for 24 hour "on-call" technical support line serviceRepresent In-Situ Inc. at regional and national trade shows as neededParticipate in company meetings, training programs, and continuousimprovement effortsRequirementsWork experience in customer service area and/or equivalent college degree orvocational training or an equivalent combination of education and experiencefrom which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.Background in instrumentation support highly desiredStrong background in engineering, chemistry, limnology, streamecology, and/or hydrogeology, environmental chemistry, regulatorycompliance, wastewater treatment, aquaculture, or oceanography highly desired.Strong inter-personal communications skills.
