Job Description Summary

　　The Team Leader Compressor and Industrial ST will be responsible for the design of compressors and Industrial Steam Turbines for the former Rateau and CEM fleets globally. Whilst this is a Managerial role for a small team, the TL is technically responsible for the work of the team and indeed is expected to perform some of the engineering work himself.

　　The Team Leader will report to the Manager, Steam Turbine Design.

　　Job Description

　　In this role, the TL will be responsible for a small team taking care of:

　　Definition of materials, design documents, Bills of Material, repair proposals, factory and site assembly procedures for components including for costingSupport for manufacturing (e.g. non-conformances), factory and site assemblySupport for commissioning activitiesSupport for operational issues in the fleetTechnical coordination for project executionSupervises the above work, including approvalPlanning and prioritizationSets the annual performance objectives for the team and carries out regular reviews of the team performanceMonitors Key Performance Indicators for the teamDetermines any required training

　　La définition des matériaux, des documents de conception, des nomenclatures, des propositions de réparation, des procédures d'assemblage en usine et sur site pour les composants, y compris pour l'établissement des coûts.Le soutien à la fabrication (par exemple, les non-conformités), à l'assemblage en usine et sur site.Le soutien aux activités de mise en service.Le soutien aux problèmes opérationnels dans la flotte.La coordination technique pour l'exécution du projetSupervise les travaux susmentionnés, y compris l'approbation.Élabore la planification et la priorisation.Établit les objectifs de performance annuels pour l'équipe et réalise des évaluations régulières de la performance de l'équipeSurveille les indicateurs clés de performance de l'équipe.Détermine toute formation nécessaire.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Bahelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field of study from an accredited college or universityMin 8 years demonstrated successful experience in Compressor DesignAbility to communicate effectively (written/spoken) in French and EnglishAbility to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and with external customers/suppliersDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsAble to travel regionally or globally as needed
