　　Job Description

　　Employ best practices when implementing security requirements within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques. Work directly with Project Engineering Lead to ensure Information Technology (IT) infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedules in a lab environment. Prepare release planning for software and hardware across the system, including patch management. Administer user system access and establishing safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements.

　　Essential Job Responsibilities

　　Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

　　5+ years of experience designing & implementing IT Security Systems.

　　Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2019, Windows 10, 20H2)

　　Evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution.

　　System Backups, Network switch configuration.

　　Experience with upgrades and patches for operating systems and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software.

　　Experience with information systems that comply with Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide/Risk Management Framework (JSIG/ RMF) security requirements.

　　Must have an active DOD Secret to start with ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

　　CompTIA Security Plus certification

　　Palo Alto certification (ACE)

　　Experience in Agile Methodologies a plus.

　　Physical Requirements

　　Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
