Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be a part of a team of experts working on the development of advanced antenna systems.Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for the development, qualification and manufacturing of advanced satellite antenna systems into products, including:* Design and develop satellite antenna systems for gateway communications* Design and develop satellite antenna systems for telemetry, tracking, and command* Assess manufacturing techniques, develop assembly and test processes for cost efficiency* BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience* 7+ years of antenna development, qualification and manufacturing experience* Experience with lab work and RF test equipment* Experience with Automation of Test EquipmentExport Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.* MSc or PhD in EE or MechE with RF experience* 5+ years of experience in machined RF components and alternative manufacturing techniques* 5+ years of experience with the design, development and manufacturing of reflector antenna systems* 3+ years of experience in Automated Test Equipment* Experience with the design of feed chain components such as diplexers, ortho-mode transducers and polarizers* Experience with active RF circuits and front-end designOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market.
