Toyon has opportunities for dynamic Engineering Physics Researchers to solvechallenging real-world problems developing algorithms that combine engineeringand physics principles to control autonomous air vehicles. These controlalgorithms include asset coordination, sensor coordination (e.g. Video,Radar), and electronics effects coordination (e.g. Passive sensing, electronic attack).
Qualified candidates will be capable of developing physics-based algorithms, modeling, and simulation. We use both classic algorithm methods (e.g.optimization techniques, Kalman Filters) and Artificial Intelligence(e.g. Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning). We are looking forcandidates trained as engineers, physicists, or applied mathematicians whoenjoy working with algorithms. Experience working in a collaborativeenvironment with configuration management and version control tools is alsodes
