Plans for communications interoperability and insures alarm system monitoring and notification procedures are sound. Establishes standards of performance and discusses with subordinates standards and total performance. Directs the actual firefighting activities of the duty shift to include implementing procedures, techniques and methods of operation for rapid and effective response to fire calls. Plans and implements program to maintain staff of licensed Emergency Medical Technicians to provide emergency medical ambulance service.
