Description

　　The "Social Services Clinician" provides services to patients and their families to meet their medically related social and emotional needs as they impinge on their medical condition, treatment, recovery, and safe transition from one care environment to another. The "Social Services Clinician" works under the direction of the Director of Case Management and Social Services and Social Services Manager of Case Management and Social Services in accordance with standards established by the Social Work profession (NASW Codes of Ethics/ NASW Standards for Clinical Practice/ NASW Standards for Social Work Practice in Health Care Settings).

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Master's Degree - Degree as a Social Worker from an accredited School of Social Work.Preferred Qualifications:

　　2 years of Acute care Medical Social Work experience.

　　Experience with computerized documentation and medical records is preferred at the time of hire.
