As an Installer I, you are responsible for reading and interpreting the proper installation specifications for various construction projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.In addition, you will:Learn how to identify, and requisition parts necessary to establish low- and high-level racking, transmission racking, power racking, aisle lighting, and provision for grounding.Learn how to sew or stitch cabling.Learn how to read floor plan drawings, bill of materials (BOM), installation notes, and memos to reflect additions and modifications to customers' location (central office) because of installation or engineering activitiesLearn how to read and interpret installation specificationsQualifications
About You:Safety is a part of your day to dayYou have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workYou are looking for long-term projectsYou enjoy getting your hands dirty with your teamYou have entry-level or 1 year of technical experience.You have a High School diploma or equivalent GED.You respond promptly to customer needs; solicit customer feedback to improve partnershipYou are computer literateMust be trainable and coachableYou have the ability to learn customer specifications and standardsYou have excellent communication skills; speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; demonstrate group presentation skillsYou have the ability to learn time management while working on customer sites.You possess dependability - Follow instructions, respond to management direction; keep commitmentsExperience in handling power toolsMust be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs.Willingness to travel
