This position offers a hybrid work schedule which includes telework days and in office days at a DLI office building.
This Senior Research position is responsible:
To identify data inconsistencies of claim shell, associated transaction and claim; and address any inconsistencies with internal/external parties to resolve issues.
To manage the claim shell queue to ensure the integrity of reported data.
To request First Reports of Injury (FROI) as required by Statute.
To review documents in task queue to verify documents are uploaded to correct claim.
To email CRT Director, Supervisors and MNIT of a possible unauthorized release of data when documents have been uploaded to an incorrect file.
Assist in developing a comprehensive procedure and workflow regarding claim shells
Help develop and coordinate long-range planning, processes and strategies, to provide CRT present and future success in Campus regarding claim shell queue.
Provide training and respond to question from internal staff on claim shell queue.
Minimum Qualifications
Customer service skills to answer questions, advise customers and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures in a clear, concise, and professional manner to both internal and external customers.
Skill in using spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to enter, compile, store, and retrieve data.
Ability to receive and review source documents, compare documents to database information, and edit documents.
Database management sufficient to set up and run basic queries, review, and analyze data, and identify problem areas.
Analyze and make recommendations to management for new or revised administrative and program practices and procedures for smooth and efficient office operation.
Provide training to others within the work unit on the program policies, procedures, and standards of administrative materials.
Word processing sufficient to use software to create, format, edit, print, and save a variety of documents such as emails, and First Report of Injury forms.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CAMPUS.
Ability to recognize, research and resolve problems.
Experience researching and working with Claim shells.
Detail oriented sufficient to identify inconsistencies or errors in data.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with a wide range of backgrounds, who do not share your same culture, ethnicity, language, or other common experiences.
Language skills other than English (such as Somali, Spanish, Hmong, Karen or ASL).
