GCyber is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Office of Military Commissions (OMC), a high-profile DoD customer. The OMC mission set ranges from management, prosecution, defense, and judiciary functions to appellate review. Comprising members from all U.S. Armed Forces branches and civilian employees from the DoD and DoJ, these organizations collaborate to uphold justice while ensuring fairness and due process in the handling of military commission cases.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architecture and security, a deep understanding of technology trends, and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable systems.
This position is full time onsite in Arlington, VA. Given the unique mission and classified nature of the work, there is no opportunity for hybrid or remote work arrangements.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will:
Lead E&I (engineering and implementation) efforts for the design, creation, proposal, and engineering of enterprise level IT Solutions for the OMC IT environment. This includes all solutions for NIPR/SIPR/JWICS and SAP security environments. This includes but is not limited to infrastructure, network, security, data storage, centralized management, server scoping, and configurations that enhance the OMC end-user experience.
Design secure solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.
Function as the SME responsible for developing, implementing, and configuring OMC system Infrastructure across multiple locations, operating a broad range of Microsoft Server technologies including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and digital certificates. management systems, ensuring proper issuance, renewal, and revocation processes.
Support replication of network file share volumes via Distributed Files System w/ Replication (DFS-R) between the NCR and NSGB locations.
Provide support for storage area network (SAN) and encrypted file storage capabilities.
Provide expert level support for troubleshooting system related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CND)
Minimum of 10 years of experience including specialized experience in PKI engineering and/or engineering ICAM solutions preferably in support of DoD or IC
