Job Summary
The Training Project Coordinator in Financial Services (FS) Training and Development will ensure timelines, milestones, and deadlines are met for FS Training and Development projects. This position will assist in project planning, monitoring project progress, facilitating project team communication, and managing project documentation to ensure that projects are delivered on time. This position reports to the Associate Director of Training and Development in FS and will be part of a larger training team that designs, develops, and implements training programs for university staff and faculty on budgeting, purchasing, and travel systems and processes.
This position requires a candidate with strong writing skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal with multiple constituencies in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based work environment. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, who thrives on supporting a team, and has a passion for overseeing projects and timelines. Additionally, this individual is flexible and can adjust to changing priorities and timelines.

Notes on Timing:
The anticipated start date for this position will be early to mid-March 2024.
Responsibilities
Assists in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.Collaborates with other FS Training and Development team members to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.Acts as a central point of contact for project team members and facilitates communication among team members, stakeholders, and subject matter experts (SMEs).Schedules and coordinates meetings with project team members.Participates in project kick-off meetings and ensures that project teams have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities.Maintains accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and action items.Delivers instructor-led training as needed.Performs other tasks as assigned by the Associate Director of Training and Development.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
Expertise in content research, instructional design and delivery methods and experience delivering training to high level leaders is strongly preferred.
This position is not responsible for providing patient care.
