  Under the direction of the Information Team Leader , t he Senior Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and managing business data for use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives . A demonstrated background in data analysis with in marketing and sales is essential. The Senior Data Analyst collaborate s with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors , and Firm leadership to understand business needs , research, and analyze data, and propose i nnovative strategies to drive business growth. The Senior Data Analyst play s a pivotal role in delivering data-driven insights and solutions while closely collaborating with senior leadership in a fast-paced and agile environment.

  Responsibilities :

  Conduct advanced data analysis to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and propose data-driven strategies to support business growth. Choose and utilize suitable data visualizations for clear and impactful data communication.

  Collaborate closely with Growth stakeholders to understand business objectives , challenges, and opportunities , fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

  Lead and educate Growth stakeholders advising on data-driven decision s and insights, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed choices that drive business growth.

  Collaborate with data engineers to i ntegrate data from various sources and functional areas to create a unified, accurate data repository, while also implementing data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy.

  Interpret data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, suggesting areas for process improvement and/or improving data quality.

  Stay informed about growth industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis, while sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues to promote continuous improvement.

  May provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior data analysts or team members as needed to support their professional development (if applicable).

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics) required ; Master's degree preferred.

  Proven experience as a data analyst in a corporate or consulting environment, with a minimum of 10 + years of job-related experience

  Proficient in Microsoft T-SQL, SSAS, DAX, Power BI, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Azure DevOps

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

  Experience participating in data governance and data management best practices is a plus.

  Experience with translating business requirements to technical requirements.

  Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team .

  Expert knowledge of business/technical field related to assigned systems and advanced knowledge of related areas with proven experience interpreting sales process metrics and underlying systems

  Vendor management experience

  Ability to scope, plan, and budget for projects, prioritize work under pressure, and deliver results on time.

  Ability to apply sound judgment to scope information needed to drive projects forward .

  Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions .

  Ability to conceptualize data and the impact of changes in data on business processes.

  Excellent w ritten, v erbal and p resentation skills .

  Ability to communicate clearly and present information in a virtual setting.

  Strong analytical skills and business acumen.

  Advanced knowledge of business/technical field related to assigned system and proficiency with related areas.

  Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate’s unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $90,000 to $146,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.

  Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
