The SRE Delivery Analytics team supports informed decision making by efficiently providing SRE management and other key stakeholders with timely, high-quality, curated analyses, reports, metrics, and related services
What you get to do in this role:Design, develop, and maintain the reports, analyses, metrics, and related resources needed to support and continually improve ServiceNow's SREWork with disparate, often complex, data sets to perform analyses and communicate findings and recommendations to the SRE leadership teamIdentify, develop, and deploy metrics to support operations and drive continuous improvement initiativesChampion the adoption of data analytics as a key component of process, technology, and resource managementPlay a keep role in the development and ongoing improvement of the SRE Data Analytics programQualifications
To be successful in this role you have:Demonstrated expertise in ExcelDemonstrated expertise in Power BI or TableauDemonstrated expertise in SQL and databasesDemonstrated expertise in scripting and/or programming-particularly PythonDemonstrated proficiency with Linux, IP networks, servers, and other infrastructureOperations experience with a cloud, social media, gaming, or other company with a massive online presenceSolid critical thinking and mathematical skills-including a fundamental understanding of statisticsSolid written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on presenting complex data in an intuitive formatSignificant NOC or SRE experience a plusSignificant continuous improvement program experience a plusServiceNow development or system administration experience a plusExpertise in ServiceNow reporting, dashboarding, and Performance Analytics a plusBasic Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in BI or Data Analytics-preferably in a cloud, SaaS, or PaaS companyFor positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $84,870 - $140,130, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
