　　SUMMARY

　　ANSYS, Inc. seeks Senior Application Developer (multiple openings) to work in Canonsburg, PA and various unanticipated locations

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　The Senior Application Developer implements and configures responsive web applications in support of business areas within Ansys using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).This role is responsible for the validation of business requirements, development of system designs and processes, complex system configuration, development of custom features and enhancements, complex report, and database query development for one or more business systems or environments.Specific job duties include: Perform complex configuration, custom development of AEM components using HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, Ajax;Test and document supporting enterprise web applications; recognized as subject matter expert for multiple applications, development platforms, development tools or technologies;communicate impact of issues to senior IT and BU management;Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and stakeholders to design solutions for complex problems and understand end-to-end business processes;Support internal users as a subject matter expert, recommending enhancements, best practices, and new processes to optimize use and adoption of the platform;Debug and troubleshoot issues related to front-end web development;Design and develop integration solutions, and work independently with minimal supervision and may lead a development team as part of a larger project.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

　　Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gainedWork experience or academic coursework must have included: Five (5) years of experience with Development tools such as .NET, Visualforce, PLSQL, HTML, Java, or Ajax; Five (5) years of experience designing and developing complex custom enhancements to business systems; Complex database concepts and development; Designing and developing integration methods for business systems and data using web services, XML or other industry standard methods Additional work location information: Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US.
