  American Express’ Global Advertising & Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most creative department in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. Within GABM sits the Strategy and Financial Planning, Measurement, and Operations Team leading investment strategy, brand performance, and operational excellence. This position reports to the Director, Operations & Compliance and will enable effective and compliant market research, increasing speed and impact of insights, for the Global Brand Strategy & Insights team (GBSI)

  Responsibilities:

  Partner with the Manager, US Research Enablement to ensure all US research complies with Company policy and regulatory requirements (e.g., Privacy, Compliance)

  Drive implementation of new and improved processes to increase speed-to-market for market research initiatives

  Enable access to global, internal customer lists, including overseeing calendar and prioritization of research projects, and identifying opportunities to improve the process for managing effectively across partners

  Work closely with multiple internal partners (e.g., insights project managers) and research agencies, and serve as the liaison between the GBSI team and compliance/ process function

  Qualifications:

  3 years of relevant experience preferred

  Highly organized, with excellent project management, organizational and process/workflow skills

  Strong attention to detail, with the ability to think through processes end-to-end, and identify potential gaps or opportunities for improvement

  Creative problem-solver; ability to think innovatively and identify opportunities for new processes

  Strong communicator to create clarity across complex issues

  Ability to ask the “right” questions without having extensive knowledge in a particular business domain

  Prior experience with market research and/or risk management is a plus

  Qualifications

  Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits

  The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.

  Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
