How will you make an impact in this role?

The incumbent will be an integral member of the Card Acquisitions team, an organization that is dedicated to grow the American Express Card Member portfolio via Telemarketing and direct channels in Singapore.

Head up the Telemarketing Card Acquisition Channel and Premium Card Acquisition to achieve sales targets

Conceptualise and drive strategies to develop and implement end-to-end telemarketing and premium card campaigns, partnerships and/or events to grow the Card Member portfolio

Operational process improvements (streamlining card acquisition process for efficiency and service) and new business development (develop new leads channels)

Leverage data and insights to analyze the efficacy of acquisition campaigns to refine existing strategies to drive campaign performance on an ongoing basis

Manage and optimize the allocation of marketing investments maximize ROI

Complaint handling and reporting, conduct regular performance evaluations including call listening and provide feedback and training to team

To manage the day-to-day operations of the 2 critical functions, providing leadership and also liaison with various internal stakeholders involving different Business Units to drive shared objectives; which includes ensuring compliance to company policies and regulatory requirements

Maintaining Team’s personal files, complaint handling and reporting, coordinating and leading the Internal Audit Team, frequent call listening and customer feedbacks

Developing and implementing Sales Incentive Plan

Foster a positive and motivating work environment.

Qualifications

6 – 10 years of experience with telemarketing/sales management experience. Relevant experience in Financial Institution and/or premium product marketing will be preferred

Independent, self-motivated, organized individual with good interpersonal skills

Strategic and creative problem solver with ability to develop innovative and actionable strategies to challenge the status quo

Strong leadership with the ability to strategize at the macro level, as well as managing the operational details at the micro level

Excellent collaborator with ability to effectively manage stakeholders in a matrix organization and is comfortable with centralized work processes

High level of organizational and multitasking abilities, demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment
