Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND is a 41 bedCritical Care Hospital, providing long-term acute care services to patientsrecovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients requireadditional critical care services for medically complex conditions such astrauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease,stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specializedhospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly workenvironment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
The RN develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care ofassigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of VibraHealthcare. The provision of care includes direct care along with thedelegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with theapplicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurserole include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care;improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships andutilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role ofthe hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.Required Skills:Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse inthe state of employment required.Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six(6) months of hire.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in theworkplaceBenefits
